During the confirmation of the put away from bulk suggestion, you confirm the zones and locations that the goods have actually been placed in. The suggested zones and locations will be displayed, but can be overridden. The confirmed zone/location will be validated.
Note: You can only change the To location, not the From location, when you confirm the put away from bulk suggestion. Note: When the put away from bulk suggestion is processed via R/F processing, the confirmation is done during the R/F processing.
- Select the Confirm put away suggestion menu item.
- You access Suggestion confirmation, Put away. Complete the following fields:
- Suggestion list
- Enter the Put away from bulk list number to confirm the put away from bulk suggestion.
- Line number
- Only used for zone put away. Enter a range of numbers specifying the lines on the put away from bulk list that you want to confirm. If no selections are made, then all lines on the list will be confirmed.
- Note: Zone put away means that the manual put away routines in the warehouse are divided in zones. When zone put away is used, the put away suggestion is split into several documents. Each zone will be printed on a separate document with one or several lines that can be confirmed separately or all at once. All or some of the put away suggestions can be printed on selected printers placed nearest to the zones in the warehouse.
- You access Suggestion confirmation, Put away from bulk.
- Click Change location to change the To location if the suggested location is not to be used.
- Manually enter the quantity to be put away in Actual qty. Then, click OK to confirm the movement.
- Click the plus sign (+) to split the quantity for one line and move the items into one or several locations, other than the suggested location.
- Click Full put away to confirm that the suggested quantity has been put away. The suggested quantity will be displayed in Actual qty. Then, click OK to confirm the movement.
Click OK.
Which From locations are included in the suggestion depends on the selection criteria entered when the suggestion was created. (See Create a put away from bulk suggestion.)
The To locations are suggested by the system. These suggested locations are determined according to the general put away rules. You can, however, override the suggested locations and put the goods in the location you want.
