Project follow-up

Related topics

This function can be used for the planning and reporting of project-related activities that should not be invoiced. You can distribute the planned actions among the people that are involved in the project by assigning a handler to a follow-up record.

Each follow-up action consists of the following parts:

  • A reference to the project or the quotation.
  • A handler indicating who is responsible for the action.
  • A code from the Follow-up code table indicating what needs to be done.
  • A date indicating when the action should be taken.
  • A description of the follow-up action.

When the action has been performed this is reported in the routine for actual follow-up. Each action will be written in a history file for the project/quotation that can be viewed via Planned follow-up code enquiry. You can therefore keep track of the planned actions and see when they have been dealt with.

All action lines have a status that indicates if they are open or closed. The following statuses are valid:

Status Description
Blank Open
9 Closed (no changes can be made to the action line)
