This function is useful if you need to view the effects of changes in the work centre capacity. Note: A capacity simulation version must be created before you can simulate the work centre capacity. See Create a work centre capacity simulation version for instructions.
- Select the Work with work centres menu item.
- You access Work with work centre. Select the applicable work centre and click Simulate capacity.
- You access Capacity simulation ver selection. Select the capacity simulation version you want to use and click Select.
- You access Work centre capacity maintenance, Capacity in decimal (minutes). You have several options on this panel. You can:
- Enter a new capacity in New cap. Compare with Change the capacity for a work centre.
- Select a date for which you want to change the work centre parameters and click Change parm. Compare with Change the work centre parameters.
Click OK when you have changed the capacity and/or the parameters.
Note: Since this is a simulation, you do not need to re-create the capacity. The changes are instantly reflected in the simulation.
Exit the routine.
