You may find it necessary to empty small quantities that remain in a warehouse. To help you do this you can use the Supply from first logic in the sourcing policy. Do as follows:
- For the sourcing policy used for the order (can be seen on the Order line, Main info (DMR30701) panel), change the Supply from first field to YES for the sourcing policy in the Sourcing policy table.
- The first warehouse with any available quantity within the sourcing policy is applied. Quantity or date must be changed before the line is created by pressing enter.
Note: Depending on the requested quantity and IF the quantity is not available, the result will differ depending on the following:
- If Auto fulfil is set to NO on the Order header, the order line cannot be created.
- If Auto fulfil is set to YES on the Order header, then OFR settings are taken into consideration, which can have a positive impact depending on what the OFR code is and how much is available. If not enough available the result depends on the OFR code and any other relevant settings (e.g., split on warehouse).
